Welcome back
dolls :- ) how have you guys been? As
for me, I had a long week; trying to meet up with deadlines at the office and
NYSC shenanigans. However, I did look forward to writing this post. I felt I
really needed to do a review on some of the products I purchased in Nigeria.
Why am I
doing this? Well, because I enjoy researching a product or going over reviews
from people that have used the product before I purchase it. But I noticed it
was harder for me to find reviews about products that are only sold here in
Nigeria.
With that
said, let’s go straight to it (no need for epistle :/)
1. SKINEAL
This is a
Nigerian product made in Ogudu, Lagos, Nigeria.
It is sold in almost all pharmacies in Nigeria. The price fluctuates so
I do not want to give any specific price.
“Skineal” is
literally the go to cream for Nigerians. Literally, someone can be like “I have
rashes or pimples” you can guess the response ….right? “Madam/Sir go and buy skineal.”
So is it a
yay or nay for me? I would give it a YAY! It cures almost any kind of rash on
your skin as it is an Antifungal, Antibacterial, Anti- inflammatory and
Antipruritic (for the love of letter “A”)
I always keep
it handy (I never run out) just in case a rash appears on my body.
#2 FUNBACT-A
I remember
hearing about this product when I moved back to Nigeria last year, for some
reason I always called it “Combat A” (caused a lot of confusion in pharmacies
because I would say it with confidence.)
Anyways, this
triple action cream does the weirdest thing; it changes the color of your skin.
(I can’t shout)…
My
experience; I had razor bumps/ ingrown hair on my jawline which caused the area
to be darker than usual, so I began to look for remedies. I found this product
and decided to use it (my Lord(t) ) I had two different skin tones on one face.
Needless to say, I wasn’t pleased. I quickly threw it out. After about a week,
I heard people actually use this product as lotion.
Please, if
you are reading this post and you use it as a cream, I will advise you to take
a good look at your knuckles or better yet, take a picture with flash (just
incase your eyes are already used to it) and see if it looks clean :-) I can guarantee however that it won't or if you are pleased with the results by all means continue.
#3 FAIR &WHITE So White!
Skin Perfector Serum
This is a YAY for me all day every day! This serum
smells so good and it does an amazing job(I’ll tell what that job is in a
moment.). Keep in mind that this line of F&W does NOT bleach.I do not use the serum by itself though, I mix it in my cream (yay, that’s gonna be in my next post) It gives my body cream a decent and irresistible scent even when I sweat.
Now the main
reason I gave a yay my dear blog friends is that this serum literally makes
your skin glow. Another name for this serum should be “Go forth and glow
forever” I love, love this serum. It’s funny how it was an accidental buy, but
God so loves Anita. She does not regret it.
So darlings
this is all I have for you guys today. I will post more reviews about products
when I feel it is appropriate. You guys can also give me topics you want my
opinion on and I will be more than glad to help.
One more
thing before I disappear, some of you may have noticed that I usually post
about products I get in Nigeria or locally made products… Well, I am Nigerian
and I live in Nigeria and I believe we should give some locally made brands a
try. Though I will occasionally speak on foreign made products.

Nice
